Food scraps:

All garden waste:

	Weeds
	Pruning
	Grass clippings
	Small timber offcuts (no treated timber)

❌ NO. These items are not acceptable:

TIPS to prevent smells occurring in your green organics bin:

Keep the bin in the shade with the lid closed
Wrap your food scraps in newspaper or use a compostable bin liner (AS 4736)
Layer your food scraps with other dry green waste such as lawn clippings and leaves
Freeze smelly foods until collection day
Hose out your bin onto the garden or lawn after it has been emptied

Don't forget home composting and worm farming if you don't get a green bin service.
